The present writ petition has been filed with the following reliefs:- "a) For issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, or direction/directions to the Respondent Authorities to quash the final merit list 11/06/2016 prepared vide Letter No. 31 dated 12/06/2026 issued by the Respondent

Patna High Court CWJC No.10986 of 2026(2) dt.27-07-2026 2/3 No. 7 & 8, whereby the Respondent No. 9 has been illegally and arbitrarily appointed to the post of Sanitation Supervisor in Gram Panchayat Raj, Hariharpur Kala, Goriakothi, Siwan, despite her earlier appointment being cancelled on grounds of ineligibility and despite the Petitioner being the most meritorious candidate.

b) For issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, or direction/directions, commanding the Respondent Authorities, particularly Respondent Nos. 6, 7, and 8, to appoint the Petitioner to the post of Sanitation Supervisor in Gram Panchayat Raj, Hariharpur Kala, Goriakothi, Siwan, as the Petitioner was the first rank candidate in the provisional merit lists and fulfils all requisite eligibility criteria. c) For issuance of such other writ/writs, order/orders or direction/directions as Your Lordship may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

Learned Counsel for the State submits that the petitioner ought to have filed his representation before the Deputy Development Commissioner concern but instead thereof he has filed his representation before Respondent No. 7, Panchayat Secretary, Gram Pachayat Raj, Hariharpur Kala, Goriakothi, Siwan.

4. In the aforesaid background, the petitioner is directed to file a fresh representation before respondent No. 06, namely, Block Development Officer, Goriakothi, Siwan, along

Patna High Court CWJC No.10986 of 2026(2) dt.27-07-2026 3/3 with a copy of this order, within 30 days from today. Upon receipt of the representation, the respondent No. 06, is directed to take a decision on the said representation within 90 days from the date of its filing, with a reasoned and speaking order.

5. It is made clear that if the petitioner is not satisfied with the order passed by Respondent No. 6 on his represenation which he has to file within 30 days from today, he may challenge the same before the Deputy Development Commissioner concerned by filing another representation.

6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed off.
