The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Madhepura (Ghailardh) P.S. Case No.264 of 2019 registered under Sections 341, 323, 498(A), 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is that on 13.01.2019, Munna Ram, the son-in-law of the informant, gave information to the informant that his daughter had left the house with some villagers. Earlier, her sonin-law and other in-laws of his daughter used to torture his daughter
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49632 of 2019(2) dt.08-08-2019 2/2 due to non-fulfillment of the dowry demand of Splendar Motorcycle. The informant raised suspicion about killing his daughter by the husband and other in-laws of his daughter due to non-fulfillment of the dowry demand.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the present case has been lodged by the informant after two months of receiving the information from his son-in-law about moving of his daughter with some villagers. Moreover, the petitioner nos.1 to 5 are brothers-in-law and the petitioner no.6 is the Gotani of the daughter of the informant.
Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender by them within six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on their furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhepura, in connection with Madhepura (Ghailardh) P.S. Case No.264 of 2019, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. (Rajendra Kumar Mishra, J) P.S./- U T
