JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 10-02-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State. Petitioners pray for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 498, 304B/120B of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, petitioners and their family members caused death of the daughter of the informant due to non-fulfilment of demand of dowry.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are mother-in-law and father-in-law of the deceased. There is general and omnibus allegation against them and no specific overt act has been alleged against the petitioners. They live separately and husband of the deceased is already in custody. Petitioners is in custody since 12.8.2021. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, prayer for bail of the petitioners is allowed.
