JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 16-10-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State.

This is an application for grant of regular bail on behalf of the petitioner who is an accused in connection with Semra PS Case No. 3 of 2001 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 452 and 364 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is in custody since 16.8.2014 when he surrendered in connection with certain criminal case instituted against him including the present case instituted in 2001. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he surrendered before the District Administration to enter into the main stream of social life as he had deviated from normal life. He has also submitted

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.47378 of 2015 (2) dt.16-10-2015 2/2 that taking these aspects into account, some other persons who had surrendered before the District Administration, have been granted bail by this Court.

I have perused the application. For the present I am not inclined to grant the petitioner the privilege of regular bail. This application is, accordingly, rejected. The petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after six months.
