The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Case No. 07 of 2020 arising out of Birpur P.S. Case No. 213 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 8, 20(b)(ii) (A) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, 1 (One) Kilogram Ganja has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner but the alleged quantity does not come within the purview of commercial quantity.
