JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 18-01-2016 Petitioners being younger brother and parents of the husband of the victim are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302/34, 498A of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation is killing the daughter of the informant after ten years of marriage for non-fulfilment of dowry demand.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that on conclusion of the investigation, final form/charge-sheet was submitted against the husband and sister-in-law of the victim under Sections 498A, 306/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioners were not sent up for trial and final form was submitted, but differing with the final form, cognizance has been taken.
