JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 18-01-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 149, 323, 324, 307/504 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is contended that though the allegation against the petitioner is to have assaulted the informant by knife, however, it appears from the order of the Sessions Judge that the injuries are simple in nature and, at the time of hearing, the informant had appeared before the Sessions Judge and had informed regarding the factum of compromise with the petitioner. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, namely, Hari Shankar Paswan be released on bail in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1225 of 2016 (2) dt.18-01-2016 2/2 within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Mejorganj (Suppi) P.S. Case No.229/2015, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000 (Ten Thousand Rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi subject to the conditions as laid down under sub-section(2) of Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
