JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 05-04-2018 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner, already in custody since 9.10.2017, seeks bail in Kasba PS Case No. 161 of 2017 registered under Sections 379, 420 and 411 of the IPC.

The allegation in brief is that motorcycle of the informant was stolen by some unknown thief, during investigation the said motorcycle was recovered on the confessional statement and disclosure made by the petitioner.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that he is in custody since 9.10.2017.

However apart from recovery of the motorcycle after disclosure made by him in the confessional statement, the petitioner has also criminal antecedent of similar nature, so presently his prayer for bail is rejected.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and preferably conclude the same within a period of nine months and if not concluded the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail. Snkumar/- (Arun Kumar, J) U T
