The petitioner, in the present case, is seeking regular bail in connection with Jamui Adarsh P.S. Case No.328 of 2017, registered for offences alleged under Sections 147, 148, 149, 379, 436, 447 and 452 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegations made in the FIR are general and omnibus. The name of this petitioner has transpired on the confessional statement of coaccused Uday Kumar. However, there is no specific allegation of committing any overt act against the petitioner. He further submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned counsel for the State is present.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4913 of 2018 (2) dt.02-02-2018 Considering the facts and circumstances as also that the allegations are general and omnibus, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.15,000/- (fifteen thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui in connection with Jamui Adarsh P.S. Case No.328 of 2017, subject to the conditions U/S 437(3) Cr.P.C.
