2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 726 of 2023 initially registered for the offence punishable under Sections-341, 323, 406, 504, 506, 498A, 494/34 of the Indian Penal Code but cognizance has been taken under Section498A of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. Allegedly, the complainant was married to the petitioner in the year, 2019. After marriage, the petitioner along with his family members is said to have started torturing her for non-fulfillment of demand of a motor-cycle and in consequence thereof, the complainant was ousted from her matrimonial home.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that

It has further been submitted that the complainant wants her husband to live in his Sasaral as Gharjamai which is not agreeable to the petitioner. The petitioner is ready to keep the complainant with full honour and dignity.

5. Learned counsel appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner named above, in the event of arrest/surrender within four weeks before the court below be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Nawada in connection with Complaint Case No. 726 of 2023 subject to the conditions as laid down u/S 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. with further condition that the petitioner will make payment of Rs. 4,000/- per month as maintenance to the complainant.
