The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Rajpur P.S. Case No. 209 of 2014 registered under Sections 457, 380 and 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Regard being had to the nature of the offence as also the fact that the petitioner is one of the named accused in the FIR whose name transpired on the basis of disclosure made by one Uttam Kumar Gupta, a co-accused, who was identified by the informant of the case at the time of occurrence, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail.
