Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case filed under Section 47(A) of the Excise Act.

It is contended that allegedly 360 liters of country made liquor has been recovered from the vehicle of the petitioner. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner had given his vehicle to one Pankaj Yadav at the time of election for its use in the legal manner. However, apparently he appears to have misused it. It is contended that the petitioner is not dealing in the liquor and his antecedent is clean.

Having regards to the aforesaid facts and circumstances, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today in Bhawanipur P.S. Case No.229 of 2015,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1227 of 2016 (2) dt.18-01-2016 2 / 2 the above named petitioner, Pramod Kumar Sah shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000( Ten Thousand Rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Mithilesh Kumar, J.M. 1st Class, Purnea subject to the conditions as laid down under sub-section(2) of Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
