JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 27-02-2018 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in Mehsi PS Case No. 323 of 2017 registered under Sections 25(1-b)a and 26 of the Arms Act.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that one country made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from his possession and he is in custody since 25.10.2017. Having considered the said facts and circumstances especially the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, a case instituted under Sections 386, 387 and 307 IPC the prayer for bail of the petitioner is at present rejected.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and preferably conclude the same within a period of six months from the date of framing of the charge and if the trial does not conclude within the said period the petitioner may renew the prayer for bail. Snkumar/- (Arun Kumar, J.) U T
