1. Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.
2. This application has been filed for modification of the order, dated 18.05.2023, passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 7953 of 2023, whereby the present petitioner has been granted privilege of anticipatory bail subject to the condition that the petitioner shall surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from the date of the order.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to communication gap the petitioner could not understand the procedure ought to be performed after grant of bail, accordingly, he prays for further four weeks' time to
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58590 of 2024(2) dt.09-08-2024 2/2 surrender before the Court below.
4. Having regard to the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, let the time granted by this Court to surrender before the learned Court below by order, dated 18.05.2023, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 7953 of 2023, be extended by further two weeks from today.
5. Accordingly, this application is allowed to the extent indicated above, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs. 1,000/- in the account of District Legal Services Authority, Patna City, Patna. (Anil Kumar Sinha, J) ashwani/- U T
