(i) To issue writ of Mandamus to grant promotion to the post of District Education Officer (PB-3 GP 7600) from the post of District Programme Officer (PB-3 GP 6600) from the due date as per Circular No. 1800 dated 09.06.2011 issued by the General Administrative Department, Govt. of Bihar.

(ii) To issue writ of Mandamus to grant promotion to the post of

Patna High Court CWJC No.17888 of 2021(2) dt.21-02-2024 2/3 Regional Dy. Director of Education or equivalent post post (PB-3 GP 8700) from the due date as per above said Circular No. 1800 dated 09.06.2011.

(iii) To issue writ of Mandamus to pay the arrears of promotional post from the due date."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Principal Secretary/Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Government of Bihar, Patna for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case the petitioner approaches the Principal Secretary/Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, by filing appropriate representation, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be disposed of by a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.
