Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 393, 307, of the IPC and section 27 of Arms Act.

As per the prosecution case, 4 unknown miscreants armed with fire arms, reached at the place of occurrence and opened fire causing injury to Jai Prakash Prasad. They also attempted to loot cash.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that name of the petitioner transpired on the basis of confessional statement of the co-accused Shiv Kumar and Shani Alam. Petitioner has got no concern either with the accused persons or looted amount. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

Considering the facts of the case, in the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M 1st Class, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Sikta P.S. Case No. 14 of 2022 subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
