JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 10-11-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences punishable under Sections 395 and 397 of the Indian Penal Code. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he was lifted by the police from his house and was kept in the Police Station for more than 48 hours and, thereafter, when an application was filed by his brother-in-law, he was implicated in the present case on the basis of his self incriminating confessional statement. Though allegation against him is that a mobile phone has been recovered from him but neither the phone has been identified nor has the petitioner been put on Test Identification Parade despite an application filed by his wife for conducting the same.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.50181 of 2015 (2) dt.10-11-2015 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, namely, Satrughan Ram, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur, in Ahiyapur P.S. Case No. 425/2015(G.R. No. 2390/15) with a further condition that one of the bailors of the petitioner must be his father.
