The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Khanpur P.S. Case No. 104 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 25(1-B) (a), 26 and 35 of the Arms Act and Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code. Informant is the police officer-in-charge of Khanpura police station who in his self statement has stated that on 20.08.2017 at about 6.15 PM when he was on patrolling duty and while he was doing vehicle checking, two persons on motorcycle came there and tried to flee away after seeing the police and thereafter they were chased and apprehended and from the possession of

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. It has further been submitted that he is in custody since 21.08.2017.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Samastipur, in connection with Khanpur P.S. Case No. 104 of 2017.
