Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Bettiah Town (Kalibag O.P.) P.S. Case No.452 of 2017, giving rise to Sessions Trial No.560 of 2017, registered under Sections 376/511/379/324 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is facing trial and out of seven, three witnesses have been examined including the prosecutrix and she has deposed in her testimony that this petitioner was not involved in the occurrence, there is no other eye-witness except the said girl and the petitioner is in custody since 19.06.2017. Having considered the said facts and circumstances,

No.11594 of 2018(2) dt.27-02-2018 2/2 petitioner Ranjan Kumar @ Raviranjan Thakur is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-Istcum Special Judge, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Bettiah Town (Kalibag O.P.) P.S. Case No.452 of 2017, giving rise to Sessions Trial No.560 of 2017.
