A perusal of the Letter No. 1046 dated 22.06.2023 (Annexure-6) filed by the petitioner reveals that the authorities have paid an amount of Rs. 7,00,000/- for the work done by the petitioner and in so far as the balance amount is concerned, it is stated that the same will be paid as per rules after receiving the amount from the concerned department.

3. In view of the clear admission made in the Annexure-6 and also the fact that the petitioner has already completed the work entrusted to him, the authorities are directed

Patna High Court CWJC No.11247 of 2023(5) dt.24-10-2024 2/2 to make the balance payment due to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
