The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case is of killing the grand daughter of the informant after two years of marriage for nonfulfillment of the dowry demand. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is distant relation of the husband of the victim and the accusation is omnibus and general against the petitioner. The petitioner was not named in the FIR and subsequently during investigation the name of the petitioner

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2987 of 2016 (2) dt.22-01-2016 2/2 sprang up.

It appears that the petitioner is accused in several other cases, hence, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, but considering the nature of accusation, the petitioner being the family member of the husband of the victim and statement made in the supplementary affidavit to the effect that the petitioner is on bail in all the cases, it is a case for consideration of prayer for regular bail, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Bakhri P.S. Case No. 208 of 2015 pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Begusarai. With the aforesaid observation, this application is disposed of.
