Vide order dated 15.11.2017 six weeks' time was granted to the respondents to file counter affidavit, but neither the counter affidavit has been filed nor the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed.

Mr. Santosh Kumar Sinha, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the representation of the petitioner for consideration of his case for appointment as "Tola Sevak" is pending at the level of District Magistrate, Khagaria (respondent no.3) since 04.08.2016. He submits that this writ application may be disposed of with a direction to District Magistrate, Khagaria to dispose of the representation of the petitioner (Annexure-4) one way or the other.
