JUSTICE NAVANITI PRASAD SINGH ORAL ORDER 29-09-2016 A supplementary counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the Directorate of G.P.F. and a counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the Bihar Veterinary College, Patna as well as on behalf of the District Treasury Officer, Patna. The dispute in this writ petition is with regard to full payment of G.P.F. contribution along with interest for the period 1974 to September, 1996. The petitioner had joined in the Animal Husbandry Service in August, 1974. He superannuated from Bihar Veterinary College, Patna on 31.08.2009.
Patna High Court CWJC No.12929 of 2014 (3) dt.29-09-2016 2/2 In view of the counter affidavits filed now a plea is taken that all payments of G.P.F. have been accounted for and paid. This is not accepted by the petitioner. From the counter affidavits, it appears that substantial payments have been made; some prior to earlier order passed by this Court and some thereafter. It would now be for the petitioner to make out a detailed statements for the period for which payments have been received and periods for which payments have not been received and that would be put up before the Director, G.P.F. Directorate who would be obliged to get the matter inquired into from proper authorities and ensure that all periods are duly accounted for and payments made accordingly within two months from the date of representation.
Petitioner would not vent to unnecessarily run to the office of the Director repeatedly. It shall be the responsibility of the Director to see that the entire accounts are fully reconciled and paid up. With these observations and directions, this writ application stands disposed of.
