Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioner is elder brother of the victim of dowry death. There is general and omnibus allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same. Petitioner is in custody since 27.12.2017. The husband of the victim is already in custody.
Considering the general and omnibus nature of allegation, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21972 of 2018 (2) dt.19-04-2018 satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Sasaram (Bhabhua) Rail Police Station Case No.95 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
