The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Dehri (T) P.S. Case No. 385 of 2014 registered under Sections 379, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 4(1-a), 21(1) of D.E. Act, 40(1) of B.M. Act, 33, 41 and 42 of the Forest Act. Regard being had to the allegation that the petitioner was indulged in illegal mining of stones from prohibited forest area and was found running a crusher machine without valid challan and permit, I am not inclined to grant him anticipatory bail.
