JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI) Date: 18-12-2017 Learned counsel for the Union of India while assailing the order dated 06.05.2016 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Patna Bench, Patna, has very fairly submitted that he is confining himself to the issue of award of 8% interest from the date due till the actual date of payment on the revised pensionary benefit and its arrears. Patna High Court CWJC No.1480 of 2017 dt.18-12-2017 circumstances are such that they are within the administrative domain which delayed the decision making, therefore, the order of grant of 8% interest is reduced to 1% simple interest payable as a token to the private respondent. This writ application is allowed to the extent indicated above.
