The present application has been filed for quashing the order dated 13.06.2023 passed by the Divisional Commissioner, Purnea in Arms Appeal No. 268 of 2022 whereby the Divisional Commissioner has dismissed the appeal and affirmed the order dated 17.08.2021 passed in Arms License No. 08 of 2020 by the District Magistrate, Purnea, by which the District Magistrate has rejected the application of the petitioner for grant of arms licence.

3. The application for grant of arms licence has been rejected by the District Magistrate, Purnea and has been affirmed by the Appellate Authority on the ground that the

Patna High Court CWJC No.11894 of 2023(2) dt.04-12-2023 2/2 petitioner has not undergone training.

4. The petitioner is given liberty to file a fresh application annexing the training certificate and if such an application is filed, the same shall be considered by the District Magistrate, Purnea, in accordance with law, within six months of its filing.

5. With the aforesaid observation, the application stands disposed of.
