The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Daudpur P.S. Case No. 174 of 2021, dated 30.07.2021, instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

A total of about 160.00 litres of Mahuwa liquor is said to have been recovered from two vehicles which was abandoned by the petitioner and his associate on seeing the police party.

The petitioner has his own explanation.

Be that as it may, taking into account the period of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60607 of 2021(2) dt.23-05-2022 2/2 custody of the petitioner which is from 31.07.2021 and further that in the cases in which he was earlier made accused, he has been granted bail, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Addl. Sessions Judge-Cum-Special Judge, Excise, Saran in connection with Daudpur P.S. Case No. 174 of 2021. The application stands allowed.
