Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 47(a)(g)/54 of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016 and Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner was not apprehended at the spot, when others were apprehended and from their possession liquor was recovered.

Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5990 of 2018 (2) dt.02-02-2018 2/2 like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Paroo Police Station Case No. 210 of 2016, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
