The father of the petitioner died in harness on 13th September, 2015.

Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the application of the petitioner in the prescribed format was submitted before the competent authority but case of the petitioner has not been considered by the Compassionate Appointment Committee and the same is pending before the District Programme Officer (respondent No. 5).

Patna High Court CWJC No.2063 of 2017 (2) dt.08-02-2018 In view of the above, this application is disposed of with a direction to place the case of the petitioner before the competent authority for final decision on the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment in accordance with law and in terms of the policy of the State Government within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
