2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2022.
3. As per the prosecution case, total 100 liters of illicit liquor was recovered from the plastic bags carried by the accused persons.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. No incriminating material has been recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner and he has got no concern with the aforesaid recovery. The petitioner has got two criminal
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50240 of 2026(2) dt.22-07-2026 2/2 antecedents, similar in nature in which he is on bail. Petitioner is in custody since 07.06.2026.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the regular bail application.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and period of custody, the regular bail application is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Exlusive Special Excise Judge, Saran at Chapra in connection with Sonepur P.S.
