JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 18-01-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Prayer for bail of this petitioner was earlier rejected by this court vide order dated 12.05.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 3420/ 2022.

It is submitted that charge has already been framed in this case on 16.12.2022 and petitioner is in custody since 29.07.2021 and he has remained in custody for more than one and half years.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts of the case, the period of custody of the petitioner and tardy progress of trial, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail
