JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 24-07-2019 The petitioner is seeking a direction to the District Magistrate, Khagaria, to consider his claim for payment of compensation against acquisition of land appertaining to Khata No.10, Khesra No.10 of Mauza Karma (admeasuring 1 katha 10 dhur) and employment in favour of one of the members of the petitioner's family.

According to the petitioner, the land has been acquired for construction of a Government road. It is the petitioner's case that, initially, the petitioner's son was given employment in lieu of acquisition of land and he was working under the contractor from 28.03.2014 till 05.02.2018. I have perused the writ application. The pleadings are

Patna High Court CWJC No.14630 of 2019(3) dt.24-07-2019 2/2 sketchy and do not ever refer to the date when the land was acquired nor the provision under which the land was acquired. According to the petitioner, his son was working under a private contractor.
