The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in connection with Parasbigha P.S. Case No. 69 of 2015 for the offences instituted under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution story, in brief, is that the daughter of the informant namely, Khushbu Kumari was married with Satish Chaudhary in the year 2014 and according to hindu ritual, she gave dowry in her capacity, however, her son-in-law and other family members demanded motorcycle and threatened that if the same has not been fulfilled, her daughter would be killed. She further alleged that accused persons have killed her daughter and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3516 of 2016 (3) dt.18-03-2016 2/2 put the dead body on the Railway Track, so that the villagers may be considered death due to hit by train, which was totally wrong. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. The petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased and she is separate in mess and property from the husband of the deceased. The husband of the deceased is in custody.

On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the First Information Report. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named, be released on bail in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Parasbigha P.S. Case No. 69 of 2015 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Jehanabad, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
