The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with a case registered under section 7(a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

At the outset it is submitted by learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner that earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 10.8.2021 (Annexure-1) passed in Cr.Misc. no.14164 of 2021 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge. Referring to the order dated 3.9.2021 passed in Special Case no.19 of 2020 by the learned Special Judge, Vigilance, Patna brought on record as Annexure-3 to this petition it is submitted that charge was framed in the learned

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59742 of 2021(2) dt.17-11-2021 2/2 trial Court on 3.9.2021. The petitioner who has no criminal antecedent has remained in custody since 27.8.2020. The prayer for bail is opposed by learned counsel appearing for the Vigilance.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case together with the liberty granted to the petitioner vide order dated 10.8.2021, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Special Case no.19 of 2020 arising out of Vigilance P.S. Case no. 17 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Vigilance-I, Patna.
