The petitioner is accused in connection with Motihari Town P.S. Case No. 373 of 2015 registered under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation of informant, Pawan Kumar @ Munna Kumar is that through mobile no. 7050984814 ransom of Rs.5,00,000/- was demanded at the mobile no. 9006877504 to his wife giving threatening to kill his son.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the SIM, which is said to be used for demand of ransom, is belonging to the petitioner but the said SIM was used by co-accused Ankit

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51462 of 2015 (2) dt.21-12-2015 Giri @ Bittu Giri, through his mobile set. It is further submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 17.06.2015. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that co-accused, Ankit Giri @ Bittu Giri, has already been granted privilege of bail by a Bench of this Court vide order dated 02.12.2015 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 54115 of 2015. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihiari, in connection with Motihari Town P.S.
