The petitioners, nine in number, apprehend their arrest in Complaint Case No. 1189C of 2013, registered under Sections 147, 149, 323, 380, 384 and 447 of the Indian Penal Code.

The complainant, a Ward Member, made allegation that the petitioners demanded extortion for construction of Anganwadi Centre.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32933 of 2014 (2) dt.06-02-2015 2/2 petitioners are co-villagers of the informant. The petitioners belong to one family. The complainant wanted to take tractor through the field of the petitioners which was objected and, on account of this, the complainant filed this case, making false and frivolous allegation against the petitioners. Considering the nature of allegation made against the petitioners and the fact that the petitioners are co-villagers of the informant, the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Shri S.K. Roy, Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Hilsa, District - Nalanda in Complaint Case No. 1189C of 2013, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
