The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Kadamkuan P.S. Case No. 342 of 2020 dated 13.08.2020 instituted for the offences under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

According to the FIR, it was reported to the police station that firing is being resorted to by the petitioner. On this information, the police reached the place of occurrence only to find empty cartridges. Nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and it is only the guess work of the police that the petitioner had resorted to firing. There was no target and no reason has been assigned for the petitioner to

The petitioner though has been made accused in a criminal case earlier but he is on bail in the aforementioned case.

Regard being had to the aforestated facts and nature of accusation against the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna in connection with Kadamkuan P.S. Case No. 342 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. (Ashutosh Kumar, J) krishna/- U T
