The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 354B, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
In pursuance to the order dated 09.07.2021, status report of trial in connection with Barari P.S. Case No. 315 of 2019 has been received and kept at Flag-A, in which it is stated that copy of the police paper has been served to the learned defence counsel and, thereafter, the case was fixed for framing of charge.
Considering the present stage of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his payer for bail is rejected in connection with Barari P.S. Case No. 315
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5989 of 2021(5) dt.12-08-2021 2/2 of 2019 pending before the court of the learned I/C A.D.J.-1, Katihar.
Accordingly, the application is dismissed. However, Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible within a period of nine months on the basis of day to day hearing from the date of initiation of normal physical proceeding and /or through Video Conferencing.
