The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Nath Nagar (Lalmatia) P.S.Case No.293 of 2022 registered under Sections 341, 323, 498(A), 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. It is further submitted that earlier the matter was referred to the Patna High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre for settlement of the dispute. The mediator's report dated 28.04.2023 has been received stating that the dispute between both the parties has been resolved through the process of mediation as per the terms and conditions attached therewith.
