Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Agam Kuan P.S. Case No.457 of 2017, registered under Sections 365, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation in brief is that two daughters of the informant were enticed away by her aunt Chaneshri Devi and one Chhathiya Devi and brought them to Rajasthan with the help of the petitioner and others and sold both of them to two persons for the purpose of marriage.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the FIR and the specific accusation in the FIR is against the informant's own sister-in-law and one Chhathiya Devi who had taken the girls from the house of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10052 of 2018(4) dt.03-04-2018 2/2 informant, moreover the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and she is in custody since 30.10.2017.
Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, petitioner Seema Devi is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM, Patna City, Patna in connection with Agam Kuan P.S. Case No.457 of 2017 with condition that the petitioner shall remain physically present on each and every date before the trial court and if she absents herself on two consecutive dates without any reasonable cause, her bail bond shall liable to be cancelled.
