JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 11-12-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ (s), direction (s) for directing the respondent authorities to conclude the departmental proceeding which is pending before the Deputy Inspector of Police, Begusarai Range, Begusarai in Begusarai District Departmental Enquiry (Proceeding) No. 51/16 and Begusarai District Departmental Enquiry (Proceeding) No. 28/19 since 2016 and 2018 against the petitioner.

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Respondent authorities be directed to conclude the aforesaid ongoing departmental proceedings, qua the petitioner herein, expeditiously.

Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition, I deem it fit and proper to direct the disciplinary authority in session of the aforesaid departmental proceedings in question i.e. the one bearing Begusarai District Department Enquiry No. 51/16 and Begusarai District Departmental Enquiry No. 28/19, to conclude the same within a period of six months of receipt / production of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.

The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
