1. Heard learned senior counsel for the petitioners and learned APP for the State.
2. The learned senior counsel for the petitioners, after some argument, seeks permission to withdraw the present quashing application as it has been submitted that charges have been framed and trial has commenced. It is further submitted

No.9225 of 2017(2) dt.20-09-2023 2/2 that charges have been framed under Section 447, 353 and 34 of the I.P.C. and the maximum punishment mandated under the I.P.C. for the aforesaid offences is two years and the case is of the Year 2015, as such, despite charges being framed, the trial commencing, but still not a single witness has been examined in the case. It is next submitted that the petitioners are facing mental agony as the case cannot be allowed to continue in perpetuity. It is next submitted that altogether there are five charge-sheet witnesses.
3. Permission is accorded.
4. Accordingly, instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
5. The Court expects that the trial shall be concluded within a period of seven months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
