The petitioner has been in custody since 07.11.2017 in connection with Singheshwar P.S. Case No. 247 of 2017 for the offence registered under Sections 20 and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the alleged recovery of 700 grams of ganja was not from his conscious possession rather it was recovered from the front of Kirana Shop where the petitioner had gone to purchase items. It is further submitted that the quantity of ganja is small and he has no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5680 of 2018 (2) dt.02-02-2018 the case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge 1st-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Madhepura in connection with Singheshwar P.S. Case No. 247 of 2017. (Anjana Mishra, J) Jagdish/- U T
