2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Vigilance P.S. Case No. 41 of 2025 registered for the offence under Section 7(a)(b) of the P.C. Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner, who was working as Awas Sahayak, has been arrested while taking bribe.
4. The petitioner is in custody since 17.06.2025.
5. Learned counsel for the Vigilance Department has opposed the application of the petitioner for grant of bail to the petitioner and has submitted that the petitioner is accused of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49123 of 2025(2) dt.11-08-2025 2/2 taking bribe and he seeks time to file counter affidavit in this case.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.
7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Patna in connection with Vigilance Case No. 41 of 2025.
