ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 29-07-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Masaurhi P.S. Case No. 530 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147/341/323/504/379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner No. 1, Asha Devi, was the candidate for the post of Anganbari Sevika and the allegations are merely to deprive her of her candidature. In fact, there has been no occurrence of snatching of bag and removal of applications of other applicants. It is further submitted that other candidates have also

It is further submitted that the entire case is false and frivolous and the petitioners have got no criminal antecedents. Further, there appears to be no eye-witness to the occurrence as alleged. In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioners above named be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M., Masaurhi, Patna in connection with Masaurhi P.S. Case No. 530 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
