ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 24-07-2026 Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of 'Admission' with the consent of both the Counsels.

Having regard to the fact that the petitioner has an option of filing a representation before the District Mining Officer, District-Nawada (Respondent No. 3) or before the District Magistrate-cum-Collector, Nawada (Respondent No. 2) for release of his vehicle bearing Registration No. BR21J4044, the present writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to file a suitable representation seeking release of vehicle and also for payment of the fine amount, if any, within a

Patna High Court CWJC No.11075 of 2026(2) dt.24-07-2026 2/2 period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. On such representation being filed, the authority shall pass the necessary orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 6 weeks form the date of receipt of the said representation made by the petitioner. In case the authority comes to the conclusion that the vehicle needs to be released, he shall do so on such terms and conditions as he may deem fit. The petitioner shall furnish all the necessary papers and documents of ownership before the concerned authority along with their representation. The petitioner shall also file an undertaking in writing that the vehicles shall not be alienated nor be transferred/sold in favour of any third party during the pendency of the criminal proceedings, if any, and in case the vehicles are needed, the same shall be produced as and when called upon or required in the said proceedings.

3. With the above directions, the present Writ Petition stands disposed of.
