Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act, 2012.

Allegation against the petitioner is of sexual exploitation of the informant on the pretext of marriage. Subsequently, the parties have entered into a compromise before the court below and the informant has sworn affidavit of this bail application.

Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8542 of 2018 (2) dt.13-02-2018 2/2 like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Rosera Police Station Case No. 96 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
