Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 341, 323, 324, 307, 379, 504, 506 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

The specific allegation of commission of assault, which resulted in death, is against co-accused Umesh Mahto and Ranjan Mahto.

It appears that, having similar allegation, coaccused Sri Prasad Mahto and others have been allowed bail by different Coordinate Benches of this Court vide Annexure-2 and 3. Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5968 of 2018 (2) dt.02-02-2018 2/2 Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Murliganj Police Station Case No. 308 of 2016, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
