Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 341, 337, 307, 504, 506, 379, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is step-brother of the informant. A partition suit is going on between the parties. In the aforesaid background, allegation against the petitioner is that he had caused injury with iron rod at the head of the informant. There is no allegation of repetition of blow.

Learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6792 of 2018 (2) dt.06-02-2018 petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Malsalami Police Station Case No.230 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
